I'm on an old iMac for my computer. I started my web-page to post my LB
clues using Geocities. I am, unfortunately, finding that Geocities doesn't
work well with my system. Does anyone know of a good free website place
that doesn't require extensive knowledge that will work better with my mac
(and PC's too since I'm not always on the Mac) I have 2 or 3 boxes I want
to list, but I can't get them to save on geocities.
By the way. My latest adventure in letterboxing was that rather than
finding a box, I nearly stomped on a rattlesnake. Luckily, I think he was
asleep. I also saw two wild rabbits. They didn't stop my heart like the
snake did. It made me think about the fact that I was out in the desert
alone. I'm not sure what I would have done if I was bitten. During that
trip I also had rocks fall on and cut my hand, then I rubbed a nasty blister
into my heel. I thought at least I would get a NPS stamp for my passport,
but I came on the one day the visitors center is closed. Altogether it was a
frustrating trip. Good thing I'm already hooked or this would talk me out
of it! I'm going to write the box's owner to see if I can figure out if it
is MIA or if I may have read some things incorrectly. I spent two hours
picking up rocks only to just come home with a sunburn! Asi es la vida! Oh
well, next time will be better.

I use Expage Basic. It's free and relatively easy to use.

I've had lots of luck with Tripod... used it for years! (and it's
free!) They have a very user friendly webpage builder... Go to the
tripod homepage at www.tripod.lycos.com
Visit my letterboxing page at
http://fictionwriter.tripod.com/letterboxing.htm
Good Luck!
